Build-Rite is more than just a design process – our team virtually frames the structure and the 3D virtual frame walk is shared with owners, GCs and subcontractors. We identify, sort through and resolve all design inconsistencies and construction conflicts prior to the start of construction, therefore eliminating RFIs and costly change orders during the construction process. We verify dimensions, size rough openings, confirm plumbing & mechanical fixture placement and chases. Adjustments are coordinated with all subcontractors, eliminating costly change orders during the actual construction process.

Design Optimization & Quality Assurance Service
Build-Rite is an integrated structural design & material take-off service that utilizes 3D modeling software to precisely determine the most cost effective and efficient method for framing single-family, multifamily, and assisted living facilities. The Build-Rite Process transforms conventional 2D construction documents and blueprints into an interactive 3D model. The software’s unique flexibility, combined with the extensive experience of the Build-Rite Design Team, allows a step-by-step quality assurance review that serves as a virtual rough frame inspection. The virtual review identities dimensional inconsistencies and design conflicts between architectural, structural, and mechanical design documents.
In addition, the Build-Rite Design Team evaluates the overall design and performs a comprehensive value engineering assessment. All cost saving opportunities are identified and presented to the client along with a quantitative analysis. Client approved changes are then coordinated with the respective design professionals. The final 3D model is then reverse-engineered to create precise material lists and 2D framing schematics that are used as process control documents to ensure all cost savings opportunities are captured in the final construction costs.
Framing Schematics Service
The Build-Rite Process creates a seamless transition from the 3D virtual model to real world practical application. Upon completion of the step-by-step quality assurance review and acceptance of all value engineering opportunities, the approved 3D virtual model is revised accordingly and transformed back to 2D Framing Schematics that precisely reflect all plan revisions, match the final set of construction documents, and are customized to meet the specific needs & requirements of the framing contractor.
The Framing Schematic Package includes: foundation layout & squaring diagrams, wall layouts & snap line drawings, rough opening & cut list schedules, floor joist & sheathing layouts, and roof truss & sheathing layouts.
We go through the actual finish product selection process on behalf of our client, which includes all finish products listed below. We assemble an electronic file that contains photos, product descriptions, brand & model (if applicable) and target pricing. The intent is provide as much detail as possible so all sub-contractors are bidding the project consistently.

Component Design Service
Build-Rite Component Design services are valued by component fabricators and conventional framing contractors. Build-Rite designs incorporate “Advanced Framing Techniques” that optimize material use and increase energy efficiency. The Build-Rite Design Team has more than 100 combined years of framing and component design experience.
Component Fabricators: Build-Rite design services for component fabricators include BC Framer I-joist & Beam design and layout, wall panel design, and floor & roof truss design.
